Splash 2 - Beginner

Perform a floating position on front or back with 1-2 floats, ears in water
Splash 3 - Advanced

Jump into pool at a minimum depth of 0.8m with aided help from instructor

Submerge/sink underwater

Blow bubbles 3 times to a rhythm

Kick on front 5m with 1 float. Arms extended and squeezing behind ears

Kick on back 5m with 1 float extended over legs

Star float on front/back with no floats but instructor support
Splash 4 - Advanced

Jump in unaided, but supervised into the water

Show a mushroom or star float (Regain standing position)

Kick 5m on front in a rocket shape (breathing optional)

Kick 5m on back, hands by side, flat body position

Introduction to Frontcrawl (3m)

Hold a rocket shape in the water on front, flat body position

Wave 1

Enter the water safely

Swim on Front for a distance of 5 metres (Frontcrawl)

Swim on Back for a distance of 5 metres (Backstroke)

Move sideways for distance of 5 metres

Scoop the water and wash face

Be at ease with water showered from overhead

Move into a stretched floating position using aids,equipment or support

Jump in from poolside safely (Without assistance)

Blow bubbles a minimum of three times rhythmically with nose and mouth submerged

Regain upright position from the back without support

Regain an upright position from the front without support

Push from wall and glide on the back in a streamline position

Push from wall and glide on the front in a streamline position

Travel on the back for 5 metres, flat body position, feet elevated to the surface (Backstroke)

Travel on the front for 5 metres, must show breathing (Frontcrawl)
-
Perform a rotation from the front to the back to gain an upright position
-
Perform a rotation from the back to the front to gain an upright position

Wave 3
-
Jump in from poolside and submerge (min depth 0.9m) With or Without goggles
-
Sink, push away from wall on side and maintain a streamlined position
-
Push and glide on the front with arms extended and log roll onto the back
-
Push and glide on the back with arms extended and log roll onto the front
-
Travel on the front, tuck to rotate around the horizontal axis to return on the back.

Fully submerge to pick up an object

Answer correctly three questions on the Water Safety Code
